Along the eastern coast of Zakynthos, visitors can swim at the beaches of Argasi, Banana, Vassilikos, Laganas, Porto Koukla, Tsilivi, Alikanas, Alykes and Xigia, which are much-frequented by tourist, or Kato Tragaki, Ammoudi and Makris Gialos, which are less crowded. On the western coast of Zakynthos, we recommend swimming at the beaches of Limnionas and Navagio (Shipwreck Beach), which is one of the most beautiful and most photographed beaches in Greece.
