If you want further sightseeing, we recommend visiting the Achilleion Manor, which was the palace of Empress Sissy and the summer home of Kaiser Wilhelm II, in Gastouri. Near Benitses are the Kaiser’s Bridge and the unique Sea Museum, while the Aggelokastro Fortress and the Monastery of the Virgin Mary in Paleokastritsa are marvellous. In Acharavi, you have the opportunity to see the ruins of baths that date back to the Roman Era.
The Ionian Sea is famous for its beaches and turquoise waters. Beaches in Corfu Greece are absolutely breathtaking and located close to many of the Corfu hotels provided by Vacation Greece.
